Ruthless Russian Lost Innocence Harlequin comics eBook Chantelle Shaw Mizuho Ayabe
The Hero and Heroine past stories were really touching. Vadim grieves over her dead wife and daughter, made him feel guilty and afraid to give his love to other woman. Ella's unfaithful Dad made her feel unwanted and unconfident in her life. Ms Shaw got me cried on Vadim past sorrow. She tailored the story very good.I couldn't drop my kindle while reading this book.

Ruthless Russian Lost Innocence Harlequin comics eBook Chantelle Shaw Mizuho Ayabe Reviews
Chantelle Shaw is a great writer. I try to buy all her books.
It was very nice to see the heroine be strong, and not a doormat! He is captivated both by her physique & her music ) Lovely read!!!
I don't know why it got such lukewarm reviews - I'm fairly critical and have read so many harlequins that are completely forgettable (I often find myself on the verge of re-buying a book that I don't even remember) but this one stands out. An aristocratic musician and a Russian billionaire from a poor background who have both suffered losses in life find peace with each other. For most of the book they act like it is just a physical affair since neither is willing to expose their feelings, but when they do their reasons for being distant are completely reasonable. Once the barriers are broken down, the love is real and obvious. The hero relentlessly pursuits the virginal heroine and she finally concedes. For what the heroine is asking for (no strings, no emotional attachment because she doesn’t want to get hurt) the hero treats her well (refusing to take advantage of her when she's had too much to drink, etc.) but he is still an alpha so you kind of know what to expect. Still, the heroine is not the doormat that you find in many of harlequins. The ending is predictable, but the formula is kind of what draws readers to this genre. Still, for me it stands out as a keeper.
it is a very good book . i enjoyed reading it. it doesn't have the wow factor like other books but it was a sweet love story. it wasn't mentioned in the book how old the H was, i felt that he was a lot older than the h. i recommend this book .
The above quote was taken from the back of this book. However, Ella wasn't looking to date nor have an affair, she was only looking to fulfill her mother's dream being a successful concert performer.
Ella Stafford vowed she would never trust a man like her father, a man who hurt her and her mother, a man who was a womanizer, had affairs and cost them their home and possibly added to her mother's health issues and caused her death. Ella vowed to make her mother proud and become a famous concert performer. She had no interest in dating so when she met the larger than life Russian billionaire who had a bad rep and was determined to date her she dug in her heels
Vadim Aleksandrov was a Russian alpha, tortured from his past, lost his wife and daughter. From poverty, a non-caring father, unloving grandmother and rising above it all. A man who went from one mistress to another and he was for some reason attracted to Ella. He was determined to have her in his bed.
His pursuit was relentless and he would not take no for an answer and he finally bedded Ella and was shocked that she was a virgin.
A roller coaster romance that went in many directions. Very emotional and dramatic.
Vadim was the alpha gorgeous Russian billionaire who fell in love with Ella. He had a terrible past and so did she and that was all. This book was boring because it had no conflict at all. I didn't like her and I felt nada for him either. I gave this book two stars because I did finish it. I don't recommend this book.
This story had a lot of spoilers. At first he was very arrogant, and she seemed to be lacking in will power when it came to responding to him sexually. However, the book got progressively better as he showed more sensitivity. The story line flowed better as well.
She tailored the story very good.
I couldn't drop my kindle while reading this book.
